This 6mm² XLPO (cross-linked polyolefin) insulated DC solar cable is rated for 1500V DC. The larger conductor cross-section reduces resistive losses on longer panel-to-inverter cable runs and higher-current string configurations, maintaining system efficiency where 4mm² cable would cause unacceptable voltage drop. XLPO insulation provides UV resistance and 90°C heat tolerance for direct outdoor exposure. Suitable for ground-mounted systems and large commercial rooftop arrays. Supplied per metre or in drum lengths.
