⚡ Open the Solar Design Tool — FreeAt 10kW output, the AC current is approximately 45A (single-phase, 230V). The standard 4mm² copper cable used for 6kW–8kW is rated for 32–36A — undersized for 10kW. Using 4mm² at 10kW causes the cable to overheat, risking fire and nuisance tripping. Saigal Solar always upgrades to 6mm² copper AC cable for 10kW+ systems. This is a hidden quality differentiator — always ask your installer about AC cable rating.
Yes. A 3 ton inverter AC draws 2,500–3,000W at full load, well within the 10kW inverter's rating. However, a 3 ton AC requires a dedicated circuit and proper MCB sizing (25–32A). The Solis 10kW inverter also supports two MPPT inputs with 14 panels — enough to cover the 3 ton AC plus all home loads simultaneously in summer.
If your monthly WAPDA bill is above Rs. 15,000–20,000 (roughly 700–1,000 units), a 10kW system makes financial sense. It generates enough to cover the bill entirely in summer and significantly in winter. Payback period is typically 3.5–4.5 years. For a family of 6+ in a kothi with two ACs, this is often the minimum recommended size.
14 panels exceed the single-vehicle threshold (14 panels fit exactly in one trip). Saigal Solar uses 2 transport trips for systems above 14 panels and 1 trip for 14 or fewer. For a 14-panel system, 1 trip applies. The transport cost of Rs. 7,000/trip is included in all prices shown on this page.
