Why Pakistan Homes Need Solar Battery Storage
Pakistan faces an acute load-shedding crisis. Residential areas in Faisalabad experience 8–12 hours of scheduled power cuts daily during summer, often when solar generation is at its peak. Without a battery, a solar system shuts off the moment WAPDA supply is cut — leaving you with expensive panels generating nothing useful.
A LiFePO4 battery bank charges from your solar panels during the day and releases that stored energy during power cuts. Combined with a hybrid inverter, this creates an energy independence system that provides continuous power regardless of WAPDA's schedule.

How to Size Your Battery Bank
Step 1 — List Your Critical Loads
Identify what must stay on during load-shedding: lights (10–15W each), fans (75W), router (15W), one 1.5T inverter AC (1,200W). Total your wattage for a realistic load profile.
Step 2 — Estimate Backup Hours
For a 4-hour backup of 1,200W of loads: 1,200W × 4 hrs = 4,800Wh. With 80% DoD: need 4,800 ÷ 0.8 = 6,000Wh (6kWh) of battery capacity. One Dyness 5kWh provides ~4 hours for medium loads.
Step 3 — Match Solar Panel Size
Your solar array must be large enough to fully recharge the battery in one sunny day. A 5kWh battery needs ~2.5 kW of panels minimum (charging at ~80% efficiency over 5 PSH). Our engineers design this automatically.
Step 4 — Choose the Inverter
The Solis S6 PRO or FoxESS H Series are our recommended hybrid inverters for Dyness and Pylontech compatibility. We pre-configure the inverter-battery communication settings before installation.
