A hybrid solar system combines solar panels, a hybrid inverter, battery storage, and grid connection. It powers your home from solar during the day, uses battery during load-shedding, and falls back to grid when needed — the ideal solution for Pakistan's unreliable grid.
A 5kWh Dyness battery running critical loads (500–800W: fans, lights, router, TV) lasts 6–10 hours. With a 1.5-ton AC (1,500W), expect 3–4 hours. Multiple batteries extend this duration linearly.
On-grid solar is cheaper but has no backup — it shuts off when WAPDA shuts off. A hybrid system adds a battery, so it continues powering your home during load-shedding. In Pakistan, the hybrid is strongly recommended for most residential installations.
