The Dyness Stack100 BDU (Battery Distribution Unit) is the cluster-level protection and switching module in the Stack100 system. It sits between the battery cluster and the hybrid inverter, providing overcurrent protection, isolation switches, and pre-charge circuitry to protect both the batteries and the inverter during connection and disconnection. One BDU is required per cluster. It communicates with the Stack100 Base to allow safe remote operation and fault detection. All wiring to the inverter is made through the BDU, keeping the installation clean and standardised.
