Prime Cables DC 6mm XLPO is a 6mm² XLPO-insulated DC solar cable rated for 1500V DC. The larger conductor reduces resistive losses on longer panel-to-inverter cable runs, making it the recommended choice when the distance between the panel array and inverter exceeds 20 metres, or when higher-current strings would cause unacceptable voltage drop in 4mm² cable. XLPO insulation provides UV resistance, 90°C heat tolerance, and long-term weather resistance for direct outdoor exposure. Supplied per metre or in standard drum lengths.
