Yes, with a hybrid system. During daytime load shedding, solar panels power the AC directly. At night, the battery powers the AC (a 5kWh battery gives 3–5 hours of 1.5-ton AC runtime). A 10kWh battery gives 6–8 hours. No generator noise, no fuel cost.
A standard 6kW–10kW home system takes 1–2 days. Mounting goes up day 1. Panels, inverter, battery, and wiring are connected and tested day 2. We commission the system, show you how the app works, and clean up before we leave. Larger systems or complex roofs may need 3 days.
No — net metering is optional. A hybrid system with a battery sells no power to the grid; it stores excess solar in the battery instead. Net metering (selling to WAPDA) makes sense only if you consistently generate more than you use — typically systems larger than 10kW for an average home.
